My name is Kelsey Neff, and I’ve spent over 15 years honing my expertise in leadership development, organizational transformation, and human-centered consulting. My career began in the education and nonprofit sectors, where I quickly realized that real change doesn't come from one-size-fits-all solutions. It requires a deep understanding of each organization’s unique challenges and culture.
I founded By Design Consulting to help organizations foster authentic, lasting change by focusing on two core areas—systems and people. By identifying barriers to success on both individual and organizational levels, I work to improve policies, procedures, and professional relationships, creating environments where excellence can thrive. I practice the tenets of servant leadership, believing that success comes from balancing a big-picture vision with the day-to-day operations that make it a reality. With over 10 years of experience in nonprofit management, I specialize in strategic planning, assessment and evaluation, grant writing, and professional development.
As an experienced trainer, I have presented at local, state, national, and international education conferences. Most recently, I authored 52 Weeks of Impact: A Guidebook for Your First Year of Leadership, supporting hundreds of new leaders in their journey to lead strategically and effectively. I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and am passionate about helping leaders unlock their potential, cultivate thriving workplace cultures, and achieve sustainable growth.
